Las Vegas, NV | Spring 2022
Hi everyone! My name is Angel, I'm currently a senior and I'm majoring in photography. I've been taking photos for the past four years. In my senior year of high school I would take photos of my friends in streets for Instagram. I really had fun with it and it helped me get out of my comfort zone. In high school I was a pretty timid dude. Through photography I was kind forced to to talk to people or else it would be kind of hard to take photo of someone with out talking. My goal with photography is to work on editorial and commercial stuff. I could see myself shooting for magazine or shoot a campaign for a product/clothing brand. One of my biggest inspiration is photographer Sam Dameshek. Not only does this dude take amazing photos, he's young. Sam's the same age as me and thats really inspiring. A guy so young has done a lot in a little amount of time. Besides photography, an other passion of mine is DJing. It was actually my first passion before photography. I've been listening to electronic music since middle school. I had stop DJing for a while to focus on photography. But now I've been getting back at it. I think it's important to have a second passion or hobbie. It can helps to balance yourself out. Sometimes need to take a step back back from doing your main thing and do something different to keep stuff refreshing. Even the big guys do it. Canelo's main thing is boxing, but he also enjoys playing golf when he has free time.
With that being said, I'm really looking foward to this class.
