The ethics of using someone else’s pain for artistic expression
The sentiment of objects and the unknown personal history lost items hold
Working against the stigmatization of collecting trinkets and other various household items that can mean something to a person
Using iconic pop culture characters that are generally misunderstood and creating an art piece that uses humor and surrealism and delves into the uncanny valley with costumes and prosthetics.

They weren't too hung up on being entirely original, all of them based their work on something from someone else
They didn't seem affected by skepticism and negative reception
They weren't afraid of leaving the box and doing things that are typically looked down by other (ex. collecting)

5-What were 5+ things you would like to Incorporate into your own work after watching these videos?
To be free and let the process take over, not getting hung up on one piece
Being detail oriented and incorporating meaningful small things in a piece
Try to experiment more and get out of my comfort zone
Not to care so much if something doesn’t look right the first time
Using more neons and bright colors
